Results
On these pages you will find the STR results and SNP results of those members of the cluster that have put their results in the public domain, that is, they have published their results in a public database such as
Ysearch. www.ysearch.org
or yBase www.ybase.org
The Ysearch and yBase databases contain results from people who have tested at any of the genetic testing laboratories, so by setting up a Ysearch ID, you are then able to search for matches across a much broader range than just those shown in your FTDNA 'Matches' page.
In the panel on the right,
===> you will see links to both STR markers and the few that have tested their SNP markers.
Also included is a chart of the spread of markers observed.
While FTDNA tested the SNP markers associated with
R1b1b2a2a through to R1b1b2a2f, until recently, only EthnoAncestry tested for
S21, S26, S28 and S68.
In February 2008, FTDNA announced they will test for
U106/S21 and U152/S28 provided you have at least tested
R1b1b2, M269+ with them.
Both
EA and FTDNA now offer a new SNP,
S116/rs34276300 respectively which
appears to split the R1b1b2 haplogroup.
