Notton
Robert Notton husband of Sophia McDonald, was a mariner, born in Brightstone (Brixton) in the Isle of Wight, England, in 1841.
They met and married in Auckland in 1873 and had eight children, four sons and four daughters.
Robert's family goes back many generations in all lines on the Isle of Wight, a beautiful island on the Solent in Hampshire, England.
